Born and raised in central Ohio, she graduated from the Columbus College of Art & Design with a BFA in Still-based Media, while at CCAD she studied abroad
in Florence, Italy and was awarded a scholarship to the Maine Media Workshops to study under world renowned documentary photographer and owner of Vii Agency,

Antonin Kratochvil. Alysse has assisted many great photographers from Russell James, Pieter Henket, Jelle Wagenaar, Keetja Allard, Andy Ryan and more.

She currently resides in Nashville TN where she is a freelance photographer.
